the space between Christmas and the new year

Hi! This is my first post. I don't know if it will work so I'll keep it short.
Dad, thanks for posting the pictures to the BLOG. I don't yet know how to do that, but maybe I'll learn in this quiet time after Christmas.
Matt and Cara received a Wii-Fit for Christmas and Santa brought us a Wii, so Mike and I have been trying some of the games and activities available. We're all quite competetive so even while playing board games (like Taboo and Blokus) the room heats up a bit. That's good because maybe it will save us a few dollars on our gas heating bill.
The snow is mostly melted except where the piles from shovelling were thrown. The pond out back is still frozen. Today it is very blustery and I'm itching to take a walk along the sound at Redondo. At high tide on a stormy day, the waves crash and splash up through the boardwalk from below.
I think I'll go get ready to walk now. I look forward to posting again in the future.

Seattle--Snow Falls --and FALLS on Cedars and the Hoags

Seattle was buried under a series of snowfalls just before Christmas--most unusual as the city got more snow then it has ever received this early and in record depth.

Janes ad Ada were fortunate to get through the higher elevation of their home in souuthern Washington. Matt and his fiancee missed a major accident that occured at the Seattle Airport.
