Samuel comes to Cali

Here are some pics of Samuel's visit. We visited a cousin on mom's side who is a fireman, went to the beach at Santa Cruz (I told you Cali beaches aren't warm!!) and wore ourselves out at camp.  It was a great visit - ya'll should come!! I am gearing up for students Thursday; my student teacher is great - she's from North Carolina, graduated from Duke, and her dad is ready to move out to help with our school garden...you can imagine we are off to a great start together : )  I have beach pics to come, and hopefully some garden shots in a month or so. 

New Generation

Katie and Matt had a baby boy this afternoon in Denver at about 1:30 their time. Seven pounds fifteen ounces. All doing well. Name still to be determined.
